So I have been working on couple things for last couple months.
Turns out education is pretty important, not because it means anything, but because it filter for life.
You want programming job? doesn't matter if you have portfolio ranging from file manipulation, encryption, embedded, web application. Doesn't matter if you can work with C, C++, rails, javascript, python. Because if you don't have degree, you will be passed like it's dating app.
Obviously future is in having your own business or family, because working for someone else requires trust... that isn't really thing in larger groups.
Personally I think it is iffy to trust my own judgement, imagine someone else.
But that is neither here nor there, so i started studying for degree...
And oh boy....
Turns out, that math was lie. For one, I never really understood sin and cos. Until recently i came to understanding that actually sin, cos, tan... they are describing ratios of sides. take for one sin. Sin = opposing/base, so larger sin angle closer the opposing side gets to length of base. Not different from cakes, sin and cos really describe ratio of piece you cut from the entire cake. While tan is sin/cos, so more so comparing two pieces against each other, hence why it can go over value of 1 (since don't ground it by comparing to entire cake).
Also 1 is not a prime number. Also someone was thrown overboard for discovering square root of 2.
Honestly there is sooo much lies that i have been told... or rather I haven't been told, that is the beef.
And turns out math is not really bunch of separate ideas at all. In fact there is clear line. Like classifying numbers into types like N, Z,Q,R,C. Then sets-> intervals->Cardeshian product->functions->equations. These are not separate topic and i wish someone would told me that before.
In fact... equation x+1=2 y=2 and Df = R, we could modify it as x+1=2 |*(1/x).
New equation then becomes x*(1/x)+1*(1/x)=2*(1/x)...
1+(1/x)= 2/x ...and if we look closer... we cannot divide by zero... so suddenly Df = R \ {0}.
which leads to one conclusion x+1=2 is not same as 1+(1/x)=2/x.
These are actually separate functions that happen to intersect on coordinate [1,2].
All along, we never modified original x+1=2, we made new function to describe same output y = 2.
One never really gets how far down the rabbit hole goes until you start falling down.. and honestly, i love it.
There is nothing quite like worldviews shattering around me.
On unrelated note, I continue embedded project... turns out I really cant solder... despite having school in it.
I oxides the soldering needle beyond fixing. so now I have to wait again for new one to arrive.
Great fun, I have totally not been waiting around this project for half a year.
